Karin has twenty years of experience from various executive roles in the IT, TV and media sector, most recently as CMO Lead at Microsoft. She is known for extensive expertise in driving change towards digital communications and modern marketing as well as for leading teams in a connected world of work.
Her books cover how communication has become key to survival for businesses of today, who operate in a connected world in which the rules of the game are totally new. The need for authenticity in leaders and the ability to listen and swiftly respond to the changing customer needs is key, and in order to do that a culture based on trust is crucial. Karin facilitates and coaches her clients to become more open and communicative, raising levels of trust in teams and thereby making change less hard.
Karin is certified for board work and is an active board member in a range of organisations in need of transformation due to digitalisation. She has a certification through Hyper Island on Design and Facilitation, in order to help teams drive change in a structured way, and she is certified in the foundations of Neuroleadership with the Neuroleadership Institute. Based in Sweden, Karin has an international background, having lived and studied in the Netherlands (Amsterdam), Germany (Frankfurt) and Switzerland (St.Gallen).
