Develop a Shared Sense of Purpose

by | Mar 13, 2020 | On Point

Struggling organisations find it difficult keeping employees engaged because leaders are often more focused on directing, telling, or shifting strategy.

The best way to revitalise a business while simultaneously energising its people is to do several things, purposefully:

Create a shared culture of purpose. When a company communicates its purpose and demonstrates a strong commitment to it, the company becomes a force for good and a creator of value for all stakeholders, especially employees.

Think what activities you could pursue that align with your purpose – something that would both inspire employees and improve results.

Ask for actions and support in emphasising your purpose.
