For over 20 years Alison Straw has supported organisations achieve their aspirations by developing their individual and organisational capability. She has held senior positions in human resources, learning and coaching in companies such as Selfridges, The Institute of Management and Bettys & Taylors of Harrogate.
Alison’s career has been devoted to helping individuals, groups and organisations develop. She is passionate about engaging and inspiring people and has worked with many senior executives supporting them in delivering value through values. For many years she balanced her work at London Business School with supporting businesses to perform better through engaging their people and a senior level role leading a voluntary organisation working with vulnerable people. She now is focused on her coaching and educators roles.
Alison has an MSc in Human Resource Development, is a recognised practitioner by the British Psychological Society, is a Chartered Member of CIPD and a Fellow of The Institute of Management.
Alison has been a judge for the National Training Awards, the chair of an employer panel for Investors in People and has written 4 business books, in addition to many articles.
